 The industrial development of Hsinchu City is like the epitome of Taiwan's. The establishment of Food Industry Research and Development Institute, Industrial Technology Research Institute and Hsinchu Science Park has enabled Hsinchu to become a city with predominant technologies, human resources, capitals and good policies. According to the statistical analysis, there are about 14,450 factories in the city by June of 2004 and it proves that Hsinchu City has sufficient resources and power for its further development in industry.
